Sky Haunters

The photo below shows the top of some skyscrapers in New York.  Were it not for the fact that I photograph such things in great abundance every night I try with my full spectrum camera, I might think this is some collection of balloons let loose into the sky. But they must be something else.

Below is another photo taken from the same spot, also showing some strange orbs in the sky.

There was no fog, mist, rain, or other precipitation on this night.
