Below is a photo taken while photographing water drops against a dark background. The objects are what I call orb veils, for lack of a better term. These strange objects often look like little hills, and often appear in a kind of column or stack. Such a stack often looks like some strange luminous mountain range. Their apparent size was about two inches. These objects often have strange arc-like spiky edges, as you can see below.
Below is another photo showing the same phenomenon. In this photo, we see a thin stream of water in the center. I was pouring this water when taking the photo. Note that the "orb veils" are clearly not splashes of this stream of water. It looks perhaps as if the "orb veils" can somehow arise out of the water, but are not actually made of water. It is as if some mysterious unknown energy is involved.
What is also odd is that one of these "orb veils" is orange. I see this repeatedly. The orb veils are usually whitish or transparent, but perhaps 1 in 10 will be orange-colored.
