She Floats Mysteriously

Since the photo below (taken in New York City last night) shows a pink orb floating about, perhaps it is appropriate to refer to the orb in feminine terms. Doing that, we might say that she has a purple sidekick.
The moon on this night was a very thin crescent. There was no fog, mist,
rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality as listed on
airnow.gov was "moderate," with a numerical rating almost good enough to
qualify as "good."
