The photos below were all taken in front of a memorial in New York City to honor soldiers who died in the Civil War. Here is the first photo. (None of the spherical-looking objects shown below is the moon, which was only a crescent moon this night; and as usual, there were no more than about 5 stars visible in the New York City sky.)

Wow, it looks like I may have stumbled on to an "orb hotspot" here.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality as listed on airnow.gov was "moderate," with a rating of 52 that almost qualified as "good." The pollen level listed on pollen.com was "medium" with a level of 6.7.
