This "Orange" Could Never Be Eaten

Now if you're a Florida resident, you might be thinking: nothing special about that, it's just an orange in an orange tree. But to the best of my knowledge, we have no trees in New York that grow oranges. Also, this object does not appear to be attached to any branch.
