Mysterious Orb Veil Has 2 "Eyes," 3 Colors and a Flame-like "Tail"

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a featureless dark background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils.  Right click to see the image at its full resolution. The object had an apparent size of about 4 inches.

We see two ring-like "eyes" inside the veil. These often appear in my photographs of orb veils. We also see three colors (yellow, green, and purple).
