The photo below shows the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. We see two moon-like bright lights in the sky. One is the moon --- but what can the other one be?
Things also looked weird when I pointed my camera in the other direction. That photo showed a purple orb hanging out in the sky.
An earlier photo of the back of the museum showed a pink orb floating mysteriously in the sky. This wasn't the moon, which was only about a half-moon on this night.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night which had
very clean air. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a
rating of 24 (anything below 50 is considered good).
