Strange Appearances of the Half Orbs

The photos below were taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. In the first one we see some half-orbs appearing inside a drip of weird-looking water that has a kind of flame-like look to it.

Some more of these strange half orbs appeared in the photo below, mingling with some veil-like objects.

The half-orbs appeared again in the photo below, with a strange stack of triangles behind them.
