Like Some Column of Ghosts

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see four of the strange objects I call orb veils. They look like some column  of spectral figures.

Again and again my photos will some strange shape repeated four or five times in a column . Below is another example. We see one strange veil-like shape repeated four times in a column on the left, and to the right is a crescent shape repeated six times on the right.
