The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils. These normally appear with a whitish color, although they often appear with an orange color (as shown in these 20 photos). Very rarely, as in this case, they appear with a blue color. We see the spiky points so often seen in orb veils.
