Speeding Orange Orbs Show Off Their Tails

The photo below shows an orange orb that seems to be speeding above a building in New York City.

A closeup shows the "tail" so often seen in orbs.

 Here is another photo from the same night, showing something similar.  The orange orb at top seems to be moving against the wind direction (as we can tell from the flag).

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night with very clean air. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 23 (anything below 50 is considered good).
