The photo below shows a church in New York City. To the left we see a very large purple orb, and near it are three other blue orbs. There was no bright light or reflective surface in front of me that might have caused the purple orb because of lens flare, and I continued to see this large purple orb in about 7 photos taken from a range of positions, differing by as much as 10 meters.
